Our Staff has over 30 years of training and experience in ministry, emergency first response, crisis response, and disaster relief.


Pastor
Brother Greg Hauck, MAPC
Brother Greg retired from an 18-year career in law enforcement as a Lieutenant, where he worked extensively with social services in youth rehabilitation through the court system, with search and rescue, and provided trauma care for first responders. He served in outreach, adult, and youth ministries at various churches for over 30 years and is co-founder of the non-profit Big Sandy Christian Community Outreach Center in Tennessee. Brother Greg has a degree in Advanced Biblical Studies, a BS in Religion and a MA in Pastoral Counseling/Crisis and Trauma Response from Liberty University, and is a licensed, ordained, Non-Denominational Minister.
Wendy Hauck, MA, LMHCA
Wendy Hauck has served as youth director/mentor for several churches and has over 35 years of experience in youth ministry, childcare, and business administration. She also worked as an educator in religion and fine arts at the primary, secondary, and post-secondary levels for over 33 years and is co-founder of the non-profit Big Sandy Christian Community Outreach Center in Tennessee. Mrs. Hauck has earned a degree in Advanced Biblical Studies, a BS in Psychology/Christian Counseling, a Masters degree in Pastoral Counseling, ten years of counseling experience, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Pastoral Counseling.
Deacon
Brother Larry Yates
Brother Larry worked as a Corrections Officer at the Illinois Department of Corrections and spent 27 years at Joliet Exxon Mobil Refinery as a member of the Fire Brigade Team and a Complex Shift Supervisor before retiring. He has six years of experience working as an Emergency Medical Technician, 25 years of experience serving as a church deacon, and more than 27 years as a youth leader. He also served at the Daybreak homeless shelter, the Illinois Meals on Wheels program, and with the Big Sandy CCOC meals and youth programs as kitchen manager and youth mentor.
Jean Yates
Jean worked as a correctional officer at Statesville Correctional Center in Joliet, Illinois, has an Applied Science degree in childhood education, and was employed at the child development center as an assistant teacher at Kankakee Illinois Community College. Jean has 25 years of experience working with youth and as an assistant Sunday school superintendent. She also volunteered at the Daybreak homeless shelter, Illinois Meals on Wheels program, and at the Community Outreach Center in Big Sandy, Tennessee as a youth mentor, and delivering meals to shut-ins.

Lindsay's professional journey and diverse experiences make her a valuable Alpha Omega Ministry team member. With seven years of expertise as the marketing and communication director, operations assistant, and bookkeeper at a successful appraisal firm in Illinois, she has developed a versatile skill set that aligns perfectly with our organization's needs.

In addition to her tenure in the appraisal firm, Lindsay's time as a project accountant and office manager for a construction company in Florida further enhances her financial acumen and organizational abilities. Her diverse background in both accounting and operations will undoubtedly contribute to the success of Alpha Omega Ministry.
Lindsay completed her undergraduate degree in accounting at Tennessee Tech University in the fall of 2023 and is working toward her master's to obtain her CPA license.
